I've really been obsessed with these sort of looks. Mink browns and greys, soft flowing, slouch hats. Normally things like this swallow me, but I think the light fabric, striped panels, and colors all work well enough on me. Even though this style is quite a bit different than my usual, I still think it suits me. Maybe it all hinges on this skirt? Do you have any pieces that you feel are a corner stone for your style?
I also love how the scoop neck of the shirt shows off my tattoo! I'm still giddy every time I see them.
I am love love loving! the sunshine right now. I still needed a jacket, and it's going to get cold again, but I'm looking for any excuse to run outside for 5 minute SAD relieving sessions.
Your skirt is fabulous. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this! It has a fun gypsy vibe to it! The colors in the skirt are awesome. Love your hat with your flower on it too! And eee, tattoo! It must be healing well?
ReplyDeleteCorner stone pieces for me are pencil and maxi skirts I think. And accessories.
We had some nice sunshine yesterday but it hasn't come back today, boo.
Both were pretty much healed on the surface at about 10 days. I was surprised at how quickly everything healed, and how little I peeled.
DeleteI love brown and gray together & this outfit is a great combination.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! And I'm with you - lopving the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteI love this look on you, and yes, that skirt is definitely one of those strong pieces that it's easy to build all sorts of outfits around. It IS getting a bit warmer. Dear Hubby even got some outside shots of me today, but don't know if they're any good yet :P
ReplyDeleteooooh that skirt! and hurray for the sunshine! I am so happy for the extra light!

A perfect flow-y outfit! Love mink brown too. In fact, I favor anything in brown but can never find enough of it!
ReplyDeleteGiven my current style obsession, I'm sure you can imagine how I feel about this outfit. Definitely a good look, and it's not swallowing you at all.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. Suits your style well.
ReplyDeleteLove the long skirt, and the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to show off your tattoo?? I love letting mine out for a peek at the world (with sunblock ALWAYS).
ReplyDeleteI like this long swoopy outfit - it's very much laidback and fun. Swooshy skirts and pencil skirts are cornerstones for me.
Love the look!! It's fun to change up and try something a little different. I was oohing and ahhing as I pulled up your post. I'm obviously in love with long skirts and the way you styled this beauty is so very MMDish and perfect. Your style is really incredible. Do they freak out at school? I would.
ReplyDeleteIronically, I get the biggest response from guys at school. Most girls tend to either ignore how I dress or sneer a bit that I'm not in sweats. I've had a number of guys fuss over "how cool" my shoes were or told how "interesting" I dress. It makes me laugh a bit!
DeleteYou seem to have a special talent with color palettes. This combo is color brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is really pretty, and I am jealous that you are getting to enjoy the sun. Those colors are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the tones of this look and really love the way you are wearing the hat!
ReplyDeleteWondrous Wednesday has turned into Thrilling Thursday - probably not warm, but I can see more light every day!
ReplyDeleteThat hat is so cute on you, and that olivey green color really suits you. Fun skirt! And I can't think of any cornerstone clothes, except maybe a basic tee. Not fussy, no ironing.
You look so Boho and chic!! LOVE the skirt on you!!
ReplyDeleteThis is close to the look I'm evolving towards--long flowy skirts with a knit top and cool accessories.
I love the colors in your skirt. So flowing. A great chic outfit.
ReplyDeleteCute hat and skirt. How many hats do you own? I used to have a bunch when I was younger. The cornerstones in my wardrobe are definitely colored blazers.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit does like it suits you. It is different from your space girl looks, but yet still has the MMD vibe. It is an easy, quiet, gentle look that feels like you.
ReplyDeleteI do love these earth times on you. And yes, this is different from your usual style, but still so you. Love the slouchy hat.:)
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit - the shapes, colours, and textures are so beautiful. Neat how the closure of the top echoes that of your excellent shoes, and your hat and skirt are fabulous. I have way too many cornerstones of my style, lol! They are all my favourite!
