Wiggle my toes

Dress - thrifted
Cardigan - Simply Vera, thrifted
Ride Boots - Cydwoq
Necklaces - gifts from Lynne

I wiggle my toes a lot in my Cydwoqs. It's a sublime feeling to have snug shoes but still have plenty of toe room. I do the same thing in my oxfords. Wiggle room!

You'll also notice - omg I'm wearing a floral. This is one of my other thrifted Vera Wang pieces. The print is so pretty, the cardigan is cotton, and hey for $3 I'm happy. Actually I took off the cardigan by afternoon because it got HOT again. Rocking the boots anyway.

I wore my favorite layered necklaces from Lynne. She sure knows how to convert a girl to jewelry.

  1. Love this! I love the dress on it's own, but once you throw the cardigan and boots on with it, it's really fantastic. And how can you not love a $3 deal like that? Great necklaces from Lynne too!

  2. So much to like about this! I am particularly fond of the tiered ruffles on the dress; I am too long-waisted to get away with cuts like that, most of the time, and I admire them greatly on others. Nice necklace-layering, too!

  3. You have to love a pair of boots that are comfortable enough to move around in! They pair great with your blue dress and cardigan. I love the bold floral print - it looks like someone painted the flowers on in black ink. So pretty!

  4. It's abstract floral, not grandma's couch floral...so that makes it OK, right? :) I'm not much of a floral person either. I have a weak spot for stripes, though.

    1. Indeed! I also didn't realize it was floral until I bought it. But I think it's artsy enough for me to like.

  5. I love this whole look, but the color of that dress is just divine! I just wanted to tell you that. :-) Vera Wang has some great pieces and those flowers are super cute.

  6. I love the deep blue of the dress (and of your background). And, yes, wiggle room for the toes is nice. My feet have been complaining after a summer in flip-flops.

  7. I love the flounces on the dress and I can't believe you found a Vera Wang cardi for $3. Good one. The boots have an excellent mod factor. Great look!

  14. I totally LOVe the cardigan--it's floral but not a "twee" floral--plus the colors are so mixable with other stuff!! Love it with the blue!

  18. Yay! I converted someone to jewelry! Actually, The Teen has started accessorizing in the last year, so I might be rubbing off. I do subscribe to the idea that no outfit is complete without one statement piece - no matter how small :)

You ARE wearing. Floral. OMG. I likes it.

  20. Love that cardigan and the weather is the same here. You definitely need a cozy, warm cardigan for mornings & evenings and take it off throughout the day.

I also love the layered necklaces and am glad you converted. Actually, necklaces look good on you. You have such a small frame so a lot of jewelry would overwhelm you.

  21. I like how the floral is a cool floral. I struggle with floral too, stripes are my natural pattern/print home.

Your knee socks (burgundy) are very cute, ms wiggler.
