Sew Sunday: Giveaway

Win these!
 Welcome to Sew Sunday Giveaway

MMD buttonflowers and obi belts started as a project inspired by Ally of Shybiker who kindly donated some of beautiful silk ties for me to cut up and sew together to create recycled accessories. MMD accessories have developed into something bigger than I expected. To extend the same generosity that many other bloggers have given to me, I wanted to do a giveaway for my readers.

Here is a buttonflower 'grab bag' for one person to win. They're cotton based with plastic buttons, so even my vegan/vegetarian readers are free to enter. There is 1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small in bright summery colors.

"So how do I enter?!"
Sweet and Sage - My fav advice blogger! - wearing her buttonflower
Download her free e-book from her website!
To Enter:
- Leave a comment on this post with a viable email (XXXXX[at]site[dot]com) telling me what you'd do with your buttonflowers
- Tell me how you follow MMD (You must be a follower somehow to enter)

No extra entries - sorry!

Giveaway ends July 21, 2012 Midnight CST

  13. Oh, I had no idea that Ally originally inspired these flowers. I would wear the flowers to add variety to my 6-items looks.

  15. If I were to receive the honor of your button flowers, I would promptly do the following:
    1. Try to wear one in my hair;
    2. Try to wear them on my neckline, my belt, on my shoe or any of the other fabulous ways Lynne DeVenny wears hers; annnnd
    3. Still secretly covet your green/yellow fluevogs as quite possibly the greatest shoe ever.

Any already by putting up this conest you've made me learn how to properly add a blog to my rss reader instead of just stalking from afar.;)

    Thanks!

  16. OMG Megan Mae, I would soooooo love to win this especially since I adore your button-flowers and even better since I adore bright colors. These are totally up my alley. I love them, you do such a great job with them. And you know I have followed you for close to a year now and I LOVE YOUR UNIQUE STYLE. I like it even better that you are both a creative person and a sweetheart, besides being stylish.

Here are some ways I would wear them:

    1. I would pin all 3, 2 or 1 of them to an ivory headband for a po of color. They would look so chic & girly.
    2. Of course they would look great on any jacket and coat lapel. I would pin these bright beauties to my dark winter coats to bring some sunshine to my day.
    3. I would pin the big one and the medium one in front of each pocket in one of my skirts or cropped pants. That would make that item of clothing more fun, birght & unique.
    4. I would wear them on plain t-shirts and they will go from plain to fabulous.
    5. Last but not least I might pin them to pumps, ballet flats or even boots (on the side).

Looking forward to seeing who wins this giveaway. =))

Take Care ans continue with your arts and crafts. Ada. <3

  17. You're so sweet to link to my blog, Megan! And thanks for mentioning my ebook. :)

I've been MIA for a few weeks as my day job winds down (5 days to go!). I can't wait to work on Sweet and Sage full time and get back to reading my favorite blogs like yours. My Google Reader is bursting with unread posts. :(

I love my buttonflowers, and I plan to include another picture of them on my blog soon.
