No Neutrals

 Tee - Patagonia, thrifted
Skirt - The Limited, thrifted
Buttonflower - DIY
Flats - United Nude
Star headband - Target

This is my first no-neutral outfit in a while. Most of my brightly colored shoes are warm-weather oriented. This outfit was entirely unplanned and came together as I was hurriedly getting dressed. I liked the end result a lot. It was very comfortable, fit flattering, and colorful. I even managed to pull in one of my buttonflowers without feeling too "girly" (despite wearing pink and purple, and a skirt!)

Also on the good news front, my phone survived the dunk in my cereal bowl. My best advice for water damage? Keep away from the hair dryer. Pull the battery out asap. Pull the phone apart, and disassembled, put into uncooked rice. I haven't noticed any issues with it so far (other than the voided stickers that show I've dropped it in liquid, oops).

Also because I was asked, I'll try to give periodic updates about my Lent resolution. Update from yesterday - I got a call back from the place I went by!

I can hardly believe it's only Tuesday. I feel like a whole month has passed me by in the past two days. I'm still trying to catch up everywhere but thankfully next week is spring break!

  2. Loving the happy colors in this outfit - especially your darling shoes!! Glad your phone is ok! I had the experience of my old cell phone getting caught in the rain and had to do something similar, it did work though until I got my new one!

  9. Oooh, LOVE the colors and if I could wear skirts that shape, I'd probably try to steal it. I love the rice trick - I dropped my phone once into the toilet at the doctor's office (thankfully BEFORE I'd used it - I hate stalls that don't have a hook for your purse!) and did that and it worked great.

  10. That dye job is fabulous on the skirt. I keep meaning to try something like that on a shirt. I'll file that in the "some day" column. And yay on you! Call backs are great!
