The sneezy cold I had before Christmas seems to be creeping back. It's made me very draggy and wanting to sleep in when I need to be shifting my schedule back to get up for my classes. School starts back in a week (uggh), but I am actually looking forward to it. I'm also super excited because Grey's Anatomy is starting back up tomorrow. I hate hate hate cliffhangers!
Today's sartorial choices were made based on the temps and my exhaustion. I wanted something warm and simple. This angora sweater has been a godsend for cozy days. It's not the most beautiful piece of clothing, but I guarantee if you felt it, you would have bought it too. What do you wear on days when you don't feel 100%?

I've never watched "Grey's Anatomy" but I have a copy of the "Gray's Anatomy" medical textbook on my desk (I work in healthcare publishing). My last name is Grayson but everyone misspells it with an "e" instead of and "a". :(
ReplyDeleteI have this enormous gray cardigan I wear when I'm not feeling great. It's like wearing a comforter, and it really does make the day more bearable. Feel better soon!
I love your star bandana!
ReplyDeleteOn days I'm not 100% I gravitate towards something soft. And generally not a skirt, somehow pants feel better. With my last cold anyway I just wanted pants and sweaters.
The star belt to match the star headband, very cool. You look great, not at all sickly.
ReplyDeleteI wear a long flannel nightgown and keep my heatpad close by.
@ Debbi - thanks, just some general tiredness.
ReplyDeleteSorry you're feeling bad. I have a comfy sweater dress that I usually wear if I feel sick, but have to go to work for some reason.
ReplyDeletesorry you're less than peppy! you do look great, none-the-less. When I feel draggy I go for comfort, 100%. Love, love those boots.
ReplyDeleteSorry you are not feeling your best! Hope you get well soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the turquoise skirt, btw.
Gorgeous! I love your color choices here! You know me, I'd be in a tunic, leggings and boots.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was going to reach for my cozy sweater for tomorrow, but my morning routine of eating an orange (which I may be allergic tomorrow) makes any knit that isn't softer than a baby's bottom a little itchy. And I can't buy new fruit until I'm done my oranges!!
ReplyDeleteI wear my emerald green and black swirly-patterned dress when I'm not 100%. It hides everything, everyone loves it and by the end of the day I always feel better.
ReplyDeleteI love the scarf as belt and the skirt, but the sweater is not working for me - it looks ball-y or like it's pilling in the picture. Also, angora makes me sneeze!
I love the star belt!! It's amazing and goes so well with the whole look. I hope you feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome skirt and I love the color blocking! Get some rest and get better before school starts!
ReplyDeleteI love your skirt, sweater, and boots! Hope you feel better soon :) When i'm not feeling good, I wear shorts and a t shirt, so much less fancy than the cute outfit you are wearing..:)
ReplyDeleteyou look fab. i absolutely LOVE your skirt! and of course your boots are amazing. love the lace ups. i think i try to wear make-up and something cute when i don't feel well. it makes me feel better. but if i'm feeling large i'll wear mostly black!

Megan I love love love your sweater! I actually do think it's pretty and there is nothing better for those not-so-hot feeling days than a comfy soft sweater! Hope you feel better! Get plenty of rest before school starts again hun!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I hate being sick! I wear the bulkiest, warmest sweater I can find, and call it a day. You look amazingly put together for someone not feeling well :)
ReplyDeleteHope it clears up soon!
I absolutely love that skirt, fabulous vintage find! Great look all around, hope you feel better soon!
