Fashion Snow

Coat - thrifted
Sweater - All Saints
Jeans - Joe's Jeans, thrifted new stock
Boots - Miz Mooz

Aaaah! Snow! And Class! Super busy day today, so excuse the lack of sartorial exuberance. I tossed on things that were layered and warm. I knew it would be cold, but it started snowing and sleeting midway through the day. I didn't get pictures until I got home, so it's dark, blurry, and windy. Oh, I also got my first negative comment on my fur coat. But also lots of people petted it/me.

I reacquainted with some old friends and made a couple of new ones, in which, I possibly found a new D&D group to join. I did get up early, put dinner in the oven to slow cook, and even cooked breakfast. Not sure I'll do that everyday, but it felt like a good start to my school year.

In the interest of sharing more than a boring photo and ramblings about school, here's a great video that's been going viral lately. So if you haven't checked out the Fotoshop by Adobé video, Click Here. If you have seen it or you're watching for the first time, share your feelings on the subject in the comments.

Also Keely and I have some great news for you all tomorrow, so keep a look out! Not so subtle hint - it's another Fashion Challenge!

  4. The video is so true! I edit pics a little bit for lighting and red eye and occasionally erase a blemish or shiny nose. I don't know how many times I've had a conversation about photos in the media and how inaccurate they are to real life people. It's a sin and is teaching our children nothing. Well, maybe that they're not good enough as they are.

I would pet your coat too! Sounds like school started out well!

  7. Yay fashion challenge! Can't wait to hear what it is! A negative comment on the jacket??? Whaaaaaat? This jacket rocks! I know what you mean though, you have to wear fur with extreme caution. Sorry for the crappy weather. I can't help but think that Colorado sent it your way! Also, we both wore essentially the same pants today!

  8. On principle I am against animal fur, but since this one is thrifted and looks so comfy and warm, I will forgive you this time ;)

Looking forward to what's in store!

  11. You look fantastic in this outfit. You know I love the coat.
That is a very cool vid. So true too. Like all the ads for mascara. They wouldn't sell much if they showed the real results. Maybe some day there will be truth in advertising.

  12. LOL! that ad was hysterical. Be unrecognizable. Change your race LOL. Love it. I do think that some of it is kind of fun though -- I mean being able to change your look up... isn't that what we're all trying to do here? I'm not talking about the body shaping and so on, but changing your hair, and your make up ... and you look so cozy.
