Fall Trends: Favorite

Rabbit vest - thrifted, DIY'd
Tee - Old Navy, gift
Jeans - Mossimo, thrifted
Hepat boots - Tsubo

Wow! Fall Favorite day already. My outfit may be more "winter" favorite because it is cold. My favs today are my fur vest and OTK boots. This vest used to be a coat. I thrifted it for $10 and decided to remake it into something a little more wearable becauseI have a jacket that I grab more often that's more fitted. So some time with scissors and the sewing machine, I fitted down the coat into a furry vest. (The excess fur has been kindly donated to my mom's outside stray-kitties' igloo for winter warmth)

My "pajama" boots made a fun contrast to the silky rabbit fur. They're going to be a go-to for the coldest days this winter. Also since Keely is wearing the tunic she bought from me today, I decided to belt the vest with the belt she gifted to me!

  11. This is fabulous! The fur vest really makes a dramatic statement, but I love how you kept things casual with jeans. Those boots are simply wonderful and I think they pair wonderfully with the rest of the outfit. Another wonderful wardrobe challenge. It was a blast!

  13. My oh my I love this look Megan! I made my own faux fur vest as well in the same way, minus the sewing part (it's ghettofied). You look great and the OTK boots are just the icing on the cake.
