Sunflats

 Pendant - via Keely
Sundress - UO Urban Renewal, thrifted
Flats - Christian Louboutin, ebay

Woowee it's hot out there today. I stuck with a simple linen sundress and flats. My Sister-in-law and her family are here for the long weekend, so my usual photospot was not usable. I did get to go grocery shopping today. Aldi is my favorite grocery store. It's bare bones, dirt cheap shopping. You gotta bring your own bags, pay a quarter to use the cart (you get it back though!), and everything is pretty much just stacked on it's original shipping slats. But I'm crazy obsessed with Happy Farms cheeses, their store brand coffee drink (99p for better than starbucks!), and Moser Roth chocolates. And the lack of advertising, bags and charged carts mean that you pay uber reasonable prices. What's your favorite non-clothing store to shop at?

  1. For me, going to the grocery store without kids in tow is the most wonderful and rewarding experience! Any one will do, but extra-special is the one filled with local organic produce and tons of health food that I can't get anywhere else

  2. Oooh! I used to go to Aldi a few years ago. There is one in the next town over, but I never seem to get the chance to go anymore. My mother-in-law works close to it though, so she's always bringing goodies home. :)
As you have seen from reading my blog, my current favorite non-clothing store is CVS. Really loving the system they got going on.

  3. Such a cute dress! And I love those flats. I like Winn Co for super cheap groceries. You have to bag your own, but it's fine with me if I can save a few bucks.

  4. Oh Megan....I think I like how you look without the glasses! My favorite place to shop without clothes is at Z Gallerie for Furniture and home furnishings!

  5. Oh Aldi makes me SO happy! I love it! The only thing I haven't liked is their coffee, but maybe it was a bad can. And sometimes the produce isn't all that great. But their Fit & Active Southwest Veggie Stuffed Sandwiches are AWESOME!!! And those coffee drinks really are fabulous. And they have cheap beer and wine! YAY for Aldi! :)

That dress looks divine on you, I love it with the pop of lilac in the shoes!

Hope you're enjoying your house guests!

  7. What a pretty shape on you! I love the Loubis too...sadly I don't think I will ever own a pair in my lifetime - my feet are just too wide!

  8. @ Eek - I don't blame you, these are pretty narrow on me, especially in the toe-box.

  9. I just love that dress! You look so fresh and summery!

I typically do NOT enjoy grocery shopping! But there is one store that I love to shop at with or without the kids and that is Publix. They have fantastic BOGO deals and a great coupon policy. Love them!
