This weekend started out slow. I puttered around goodwill searching for the ever elusive "jeans that fit". I made out with two pairs of capris, one pair of jeans, and two skirts. Not bad. Weight gain sucks, but it's awesome when you can come across items that are super close to things you already own. The skirt below is the exact cut as my grey one, just one size bigger and in a black colorway. (The grey one is now up for swap)

We had an early lunch with the in-laws and some extended family who was in town. I wanted to make a good impression so I ended up in this all black ensemble with red shoes. I really like the proportions though.

Speaking of proportions, I did a quick change right after lunch and met my mom in her town. I had originally picked up a t shirt to wear but the rain had drifted and the sun coming out so I grabbed this tank in target. One of the very few retail things I've paid for in months. The tie dye tanks were awesome! I wanted it in three different colors, but stuck with the purple. Hubs called this my "grunge" look. By the end of the day, it was. I walked a ton, carried groceries home for mom, and generally got sweaty. Yuck! And although I'm posing in front of a parking lot carnival, I did not go over.
