Tee - Target Belt - Betsey Johnson Trousers - Old Navy, thrifted Pumps - Fly London |
Brr! It poured and poured last night and our nice warm weather is gone. I guess that only this sort of week means I get to wear sleeveless followed by wool trousers. What a treat though to be able to wear these.
One of the many lovely participants reminded me that yes plaid is made up of stripes too! So I revamped my planned outfits to include these snuggly warm trousers. The colors are at little expected though. I'll have to change that up tomorrow.
Don't forget to check out all the participants of Super Stripes Week.
What a cute, cute outfit! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the red accents.
Hah, if plaid counts as stripes too then I have a LOT more stripes in my closet than I thought! Great pattern mixing! I love the belt too! Super cute! :)
ReplyDeleteYES! Stripes and plaid!
ReplyDeleteI like the mix of stripes and plaid!
ReplyDeleteCute combo! I wore my stripes today too. I'm gonna link up later :)
ReplyDeleteI Love the mixing of prints !
ReplyDeleteWow, now I feel like I'm taking the easy out with simple basic outfits featuring one stripe!
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun pattern mixing! Love the red shoes too. Expected color combinations are the perfect pairing to such bold statement pieces.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a plaid week soon. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern-mixing, with the red pops to mix it up a bit. Of course... my favorite colors!
ReplyDeleteMy sister calls it my "newspaper" look... black, white, and red all over... hyuk, hyuk.
I was eyeing my plaid Anthro skirt this morning and wondered. Maybe I'll wear it tomorrow, but I feel like pants tomorrow. Maybe Saturday. Maybe a Pretty in Plaid challenge week? I'd be happy to be a third co-host and get a Linky blog hop. I have no shame.

Oh buggers, just noticed that someone before me said the same thing about a plaid week. Ooh, the pressure! Two person peer pressure :D

Ooh I LOVE! I was wondering about plaid myself..I do have some plaid items maybe I can incorporate for the last day! maybe! But anyway I love the pattern mixing and the pops of red you did! And the sleeve length of that shirt is perfect, so cute :)
ReplyDeleteI love those pants so much! So cute and fun and stylish and I want a pair! Blogger envy, over here.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Go plaid-stripes!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite of all the outfits this week. I had the most amazing plaid pants when I was a junior in high school and yours remind me of them and are making me all nostalgic!
ReplyDeleteI love the mixture of patterns here! It really works!
