Changes on the horizon

Sweater - ebay
Shirt - thrifted
Jeans - Gap, thrifted
Boots - Anne Klein, ebay

Interview part 1 for Megan's new job - completed. Interview part 2: pending.

I'm on pins and needles. I'm one of those people that tends to stew and wait, and wait, and wait, and suddenly all the things are happening at once. It's very exciting and terrifying.

And logically, this all means, kitty cat time. Actually, it means I wound up in my mom's town, but she wasn't home so I had to wait around and entertain two very lonely cats for a couple of hours until I could have dinner with my mom. Watson was super-lovey.

I've never had a cat that loved his ears and tail pulled (tugged), his tummy rubbed, and he love, love, LOVES kisses. Not to say he isn't a complete little monster, but he certainly wins top points for having the sweetest and most loving disposition of kitties since my Gomez and Sammycat (RIP).

Also check out my mom's cool plaid couch.

Spike on the other hand is an old curmudgeon. The DH brought along his laptop and as it was booting up, Spike got up on the couch solely to hiss at the laptop and stalk away. Weirdo!

    1. Watson gives nose kisses to ask for people kisses. He loves it when you make "kissy sounds" at him too. Spike hates kisses though. He gives the 'no' paw to them.

  5. Of course you'll get the perfect job ... I hope it's this one! Remember to breathe while you're stewing.
We have a kitty that's as gregarious, and is a particular favorite of Dan's.
Our Lucy is as rompy as a puppy, and spends all her time with whichever of her
humans is handy, or has the most comfy looking lap. At least she's even-pawed with her
    affections!
She HATES it when I put on perfume or hand lotion. And she especially hates toothpaste breath
when she tries to face-cuddle at bedtime. Drives her to our feet, so she camps there instead on on our heads!

  6. Second interview? That's always a good sign! How much more waiting?
Glad to see you in stars -- you were saying the other day you were having issues defining your style... I know "Stars" are not a style, but I think of you when I see them!

  7. I"m glad the first part of the interview went well. If that one did, I'm sure the second part will too!
I kiss my cat on the top of her head and she seems to love it. She sort of leans into it.

    1. That's what I do too. Sammy used to prefer his shoulders kissed or scratched, but Watson prefers the top of his head.

  8. I like when your blog opens the window to your life. I peer in and hope you don't think I'm too stalker-ish.

  12. Ooh, good luck! I think that blue and green combination is sending out good vibes to the universe. And smooching your cat never hurts. (I kiss Flat Tire on top of the head until she can't stand it anymore.)
