Sorry for the radio silence over here at MMD this weekend, but Meghan and I got down to business with a two day intense writing session. We've been writing together since the end of June and it has really lifted my spirits times a million. I never expected to have so much fun with another person and 26 letters.
But the holiday did come to an end. She had to go back to work, and I had to run chores today. Even after some storms rolling through, it's still oppressively hot here. So I'm grateful for my thrifting luck. I layered my silk tunic with this sheer silk dress I recently thrifted.
Together they make a heavenly combination of breezy goodness.
Wanna know the best part? This sheer dress from 4loveandliberty still had the tags on it. It was priced with 280. WOW! I paid $2 for it! So major score for me. Admittedly, it's a bit hard to style. I don't know how often it'll get worn, but for $2 I grabbed it to try out. It was so pretty I couldn't leave it behind.
This isn't the best picture in the world, because I've been sitting in the car half the day, but hopefully it gives you an idea. And inspires you to never give up with thrifting! You never know what you'll find.
