No longer a redhead!!!! I've actually been wanting to go back to dark hair for awhile, but I've loved my red hair for so long. I've never actually kept one color for as long as I did the red. But I decided a nice dark chocolate brown would suit my new cut. Some of the red still comes through, too. And I have henna if I ever want to go back.
I'm actually really glad I scored this dress. It's very comfortable, I love the buttons, the color. It even fits me through the shoulders omg! That's one of the great things about vintage is they're usually a bit more generous than modern counterparts through the shoulders. At least in the stuff I've picked up. This dress says it's "Petite" but it still falls below my knees.
Love the dress, you look very pretty.
ReplyDeleteAnd your hair turned out beautiful too.

LOVE the dress! So pretty and such a great color! And yes, isn't it interesting how vintage sizing differs from modern sizing? More proof it's in the fit and not the what the size says!
ReplyDeleteYour new hair color looks great too! Sometimes we just need a change!
Love the new dress and hair color Megan! The brown really suits you, though I am always a fan of red hair (obvi.). I like the length of this dress on you!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely in this dress. And I really like your hair too. I think the color suits you just as well as the red did.
ReplyDeleteI love the hair! So cute - that's pretty close to my natural colour!
ReplyDeletePetites just means different proportions: shorter from shoulder to waist. On pants, it's a shorter rise. That style was meant to be a midi length - it's classic late 80s (I bet the shoulders used to have shoulder pads).
Love the new hair! the chocolate brown really suits you. Fab vintage dress too.
ReplyDeleteYour hair is absolutely gorgeous this colour as well. Love today's vibrant colour and that great Cydwoq toe-shape. Comfy dresses and shoulder fitting, hooray!
ReplyDeleteHair looks great! I've always heard red is the hardest color to maintain...true?
ReplyDeleteLove the dress, and the hair! Super cozy looking, and yet so pulled together!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Love your dress sooo much! And your new hair color suits you well. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Megan,
ReplyDeleteI love the new haircut and love the color, but i liked red as well, but i understand, i change my haircolor all the time!
Nice red dress
Gorgeous red dress, you look absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteSniff, okay, you're a gorgeous brunette, but I will miss your fiery red tresses.
ReplyDeleteAt least your dress is fiery red! Love it, it looks so swirly, comfortable, and re-mixable!
I love the new color!! And it certainly looks awesome with the red dress!! The dress is a keeper--great color and style on you!!
ReplyDeleteHey, your red's gone South. Oh, I see, you changed your hair color so you wouldn't compete with your dress. Regardless, both are looking groovy.
ReplyDeleteGreat hair and dress, you are on fire! I also find vintage sizes hard to fit sometimes. This one is a beauty and works really well with modern hair.. I like the longer length too, it makes it more interesting, imo.
ReplyDeleteThat brown looks pretty sweet, you should show us some closeups! Also that dress looks comfyyyyy, I just want to lounge around in one of my own.
ReplyDeleteWOW this dress is gorgeous and fits you like a dream. Great job picking this up. I love the first time styling this, but I am looking forward to seeing it more in the future. And I prefer the darker chocolate hair more, by the way. =)
ReplyDeleteAwesome Dress.. Looking really gorgeous.. You surely have great sense of latest fashion clothes..
ReplyDeleteAlso loved your boots... great match of Designer footwear..!
