Cheery Cherry

Tee - Splendid, thrifted
Skirt - DIY'd
Shoes - Wonders, thrifted
Harness - Audra Jean, etsy

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all for your sweet comments on yesterday's post. I'm feeling much lighter emotionally, and got back into my closet today with renewed vigor. The sun also helped perk me up. I'm feeling more energized to get dressed.

In the light of the day, I found out these T-strap pumps are actually melon pink. I have issues shopping at Goodwill some times because their lighting messes with my ability to judge color. But oh well! Pink Shoes! And pajama skirt. Nothing makes a waist happier than a comfy skirt made by oneself.

And for an uplifting surprise I found this tee shirt in my mailbox this morning!! Thank you Ally!! I'm not a huge sweets fan, preferring salty treats to sweet, but their motto is correct... I gotta have a Goo Goo. Yum!

  3. Sunshine always perks up a day! We have tons of it up here today and warmer weather finally too! Well, warm by MN standards!

I love your cherry skirt - I bought a cardi today (not on my list but was super cheap) that has a similar print! And as for your comment about me needing another obi - can I ever have enough?? I say no, must have more! :)

  4. Me too, love that harness. I really like the "true" color of your new shoes, more even than the red we thought they were!

  10. Pink shoes! I'm such a pink fiend. Which is weird because I never wore pink as a little girl.

  12. WOW I love this outfit. I remember you DYI-ing this skirt and making it into something so cute & girly. That t-shirt is so plain on its own but with that belt you gave it life & interest, plus showed your curves. Lastly I love your Melon-Red Mary Janes and you make them look so good with your socks.

  13. Love your pinky red and dark grey ensemble today. very nice. And the different colored buttons on the skirt is a nice touch. I just finished sewing up a cherry top yesterday. The fabric was completely covered with realistic looking cherries complete with stems.
