Striped Skirt Love

Sweater - vintage
Skirt - Club Monaco, thrifted
Belt - gift from Sheila
Tights - Cotton Lined Wool from Sock Dreams
Quick Boots - Trippen
Earrings - gift from Debbi

I realize in hindsight I looked like I just rolled out of bed in yesterday's photo - I'll be honest, I pretty much had. I didn't party late into the night, simply slept the day away. And spent the rest of the remaining day curled up in a cozy sweater working on a special project.

Today, however, I'm being industrious, so I put on my big girl pants skirt and got dressed up. I've actually had this skirt from about November, and I just hadn't found the right time to pull it out until today. But I'm thrilled to say I made my first trip to the post office of the year and I'm meeting a customer tonight to drop off her buttonflower and obi belt order. Very exciting day for MMD.

  4. A very exciting day calls for a very exciting skirt! I love this one on you Megan. It looks great with the blue too. And if there is any day where you can get away with the "just rolled out of bed" look it's in the first days of the New Year. LOL So happy with all your new ventures with the Buttonflowers and Obi Belts!

  5. I do love you in electric blue. And stripes, what can I say,we both like!

Exciting that you get to meet a customer. Although, when I recently bought a print from a local artist, I went really shy! I love her work though.

Love those star earrings. I need more stars in my wardrobe after visiting your blog. But I gotta get the hubs back to work first. ;)

  12. Those stripes make me so happy because they remind me of what happens when I try to cut a straight line with scissors. :D

  13. Beautiful skirt. Club Monaco is one of my favourite brands. The clothes are usually quite well made. Love the boots - they remind me of Fluevog's BBC boots. Awesome!
