Return of the Pink

Sweater - Jones Sport, thrifted
Pink Pants - J Crew, thrifted
Star Pendant - gift from Beth
Boots - Fluevog

Pinky pants! Oh how I love thee! So comfy, so bright. Add a cotton sweater and I'm ready for my all-day class schedule.

My posts have been so wordy and info filled lately, so I'm going to leave this post short and simply ask my readers to leave me something interesting the comments!

  1. Something interesting...hmmm...did you know that if you accidentally wash one of your buttonflowers in the washer it kind of ruins them? Oopsy. Fortunately it was a tiny one, but me thinks I'll be having to order some more from you soon! I had forgotten it was pinned to one of my sweaters from awhile ago!

Ok, maybe that's not that interesting! That's probably more under the "Beth is a spaz" label!

I love your pink pants and green sweater combo. And that fabulous star pendant :)

    1. Lol! Some survive, some don't. My mom has washed a number of them with mixed results.

  2. For a second I thought it was going to be the return of pink hair! Darn it! But I totally understand not being able to do it. I love your pink and green today Megan! (I don't have anything interesting to share, I'm sorry!)

    1. I'll do it in January. I don't have the dough right now to buy dye because I just bought/mailed Christmas presents. I'm on a tight budget until then!

  8. I'm leaving you with visions of Sasha Jane's mesmerizing golden eyes :) Speaking of eyes, you remind me of my oldest daughter in this post. When she wears green tops, her eyes, a rather changeable hazel green, look like emeralds. Yours do too in this pic.

I got your mail. Is it Christmas prezzies? Because I don't want to open until Christmas if it is. My Christmas prezzie will get to you before Christmas is all I can promise. Gosh, I am soooo interesting...lol.

  9. I like the pink and green together! Sheila is right about them being watermelon colors, which is fun.

  10. That's a lot of pressure to comment something interesting, so I'll just say what I was going to say anyway, which is that I love pink pants. I have a pair of pink corduroys from ages ago that will never fit me again, and yet, I hang onto them in hopes that I will one day replace them with a similar pair that fits. And, failing that, that I will eventually shrink back to a size that can wear them. Kind of delusional.

    1. Aw! I think that's interesting. I've had a few pairs of pink pants in my life. I'm not a big pink wearer, but something about the color just works for pants. I hope you find a pair that fits! It's never fun to have clothing you can't wear.

  12. You've inspired me to get my pink trousers (which you would call pants) out tomorrow. They are not only hot pink but also very snuggly, so I'm looking forward to that. Something I find interesting is that I've learned from style blogs that some peole wear wool sweaters (which I would call jumpers) right on their skin. For me they are always a layer over a shirt or t-shirt, the idea of wool in the armpits makes my skin crawl. Maybe you could try that gorgeous space dyed one from yesterday over a layering t, it might help?

    1. I always wear a tank under it. The itchiest parts for me are the under side of my forearm and my collar bone. Glad you brought out your pink trousers~!

  14. Excellent sweater and I love your big star necklace. Pink pants!!

When I saw the title of your post I thought for a second you'd gone back to pink hair as you said you wanted to yesterday. I miss having weird colored hair so much!!

  15. That sweater is funky awesome and I love the necklace. Speaking of, I want to know how many STAR accessories do you have? I only knew of another girl (I used to work with) who loved and wore stars as much as you do. I like stars too but always have a hard time finding any cool star-print or star-shaped clothing or accessories.

Oh and I am glad you liked the little piece on Albanian history, I posted the other day. ;-)
