Welcome all to the start of Fashion Challenge: Fall Colors! Today's color is Teal. I have a surprisingly small amount of our challenge colors (except grey), and I was so mad when I managed to rip the armpit of my teal cardigan before today's challenge. But it dropped 30 degrees over night and I got to pull out the big sweater. Unfortunately, college students did NOT get today off, even though nothing else is really running today.
Except for the Fashion Challenge! If you haven't signed up yet, feel free to jump in late. Just click the badge in my sidebar to take you to the masterpost. While you're at it, please visit our participants and cheer them on.
For those who might have been interested in yesterday's buttonflower grab bag, it's already sold, but I sat down last night and pulled together some specific price-point grab bags. They're perfect for Christmas presents or a gift to yourself. Check 'em out on the buttonflower page.
Cute! I love the teal paired with pink!
ReplyDeleteFantastic color combination :)
ReplyDeleteYour sweater looks so warm and cozy! And it looks great with the salmon pants! I really like it!
ReplyDeleteI think I ended up more "turquoise" than teal today, but I did my best!
I really like the color combo today! The button flower goes perfect with your pants. Thanks for doing another fashion challenge. These are so fun :) Heather
ReplyDeleteYour color combo is super. I'm really enjoying your blog.
ReplyDeleteOh yes!! The teal and salmon look smashing together!!
ReplyDeleteDang it. I knew I would forget about the challenge. Sigh. I've lost so much motivation and sense of what is going on. At any rate, I love all of your bright colors today Megan. I don't really have anything teal anyways . . . But I do plan to join for the rest of the week! We had to work today too, even though the Courts are closed. And my boss is skiing. What the hell is that about????
ReplyDeleteMe too, I forgot all about it after trying to post last Monday instead! So I just now put a message on today's post saying just look at last Monday's post for me in my only teal clothing. It's the best I could do. Anyway, your color combo is genuis. Hopefully I'll do better with the rest of this...
ReplyDeleteOh phew, you don't own all the challenge colours either! I think I will have to introduce a different colour one day, as yellow and I aren't friends, but it's nice to have a plan to stick too. Your jumper looks lovely and cosy, really nice.
ReplyDeleteJust try the best you can with what you've got! It's a challenge, but a self-imposed challenge to use what you own to work with the trends. :)
DeleteI am so in love with chunky knits right now, and teal is a colour I haven't yet seen, except for here, obviously. I love the colour pairing; I went with chocolate brown with my teal today, and that (I think) raspberry-ish pink wouldn't have occurred to me, but it's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI like the teal and the coral together. I didn't get today off either, since it wasn't a holiday for my company.
ReplyDeleteIn our latest contract we negociated an extra day at Christmas instead of today so we'll see if I'm less grumpy in a month and a bit. I'll likely be dressing along with you but not posting. The snowy sads have taken the fun out of ootds.
ReplyDeleteI love this! Your color combo is amazing. It reminds me of bubble gum ice cream.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cable knit sweater. You look confident and warm. I did have the day off, and stayed in pjs :P
ReplyDeleteWay to start off the challenge! I had today off and went thrifting so, no pictures. However, I'm ready to roll for Wine Day tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteVery festive color combination and the cable sweater looks perfect for a cold day. The teal looks beautiful with your hair.
ReplyDeleteThat sweater reminds me of ones I wore in the 80s, hee hee. Your buttonflower looks like a poppy; very appropriate for Remembrance Day.
ReplyDeleteTeal is a great color for you as well as for Fall, MM. Love it paired with these pants too.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally inlove with teal on you! and in colour in general as well
ReplyDeleteYou look so cozy & pretty. I love that sweater which looks awesome with the button flower. I have almost an identical pair of cords, I just need a similar sweater to make this outfit happen, myself.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my First Day Challenge. <3 Ada.
You look wonderful in teal! Thanks agian for hosting this blog challenge, im enjoying myself immensly. :)
ReplyDeleteSo bright and cosy! The sweater is a very flattering colour on you.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't take long for me to fall behind (daylight and photography issues, aargh!) - I don't even have my first Challenge post up yet, but I will catch up!
The buttonflowers are so adorable, I really like the flirty femme & bright tone collections! Plus I really love the bright colour combo of your outfit, that oversized sweater is fab!
ReplyDeleteLove that color combination....it looks cool!
