You're a Rockstar, Valentine!

 Dress - vintage, thrifted
Cotton lined wool tights - Sockdreams

Happy Valentine's Day! I don't really do anything special on Valentine's Day. Sometimes the Hubs and I will get each other stuff, but it doesn't really differ from any other day or week where we do stuff for one another. I decided since it was cold enough I would eke out one more wear of this sweater dress. Of course with my new star boots for extra space cadet-ness.

Instead of a Valentine, dear readers, I got you all a fortune. I love fortune cookies because while some are quite silly (for example, some of my favorites are "When winter comes heaven will rain success on you" and "You like sunshine and fresh air".) I love to keep my favorites when I can and stick them places as positive reminders. Hope you had a good day no matter who you're spending it with or if you're celebrating.

  1. Thank you for the prosperity fortune! And the well wishes for V Day.

So you think "grilled salmon, buttery rice and fresh peas" are "decadent"? I have to disagree. Delicious, yes! Healthy, yes! Decadent? You must be using a different dictionary than me. :)

  2. I have a couple of fortunes that I keep as well. One in my wallet in particular says "A small house can hold as much happiness as a big one." I love this sweater dress on you, as usual, and I am glad it got another wear!

  4. Yay! My fortune said I'm talented in many ways.

I always think of this as your Harley Quinn dress. :) Love it! Happy V-Day, sweetie! I mailed your belt today.

PS - you mean the other "eke", to stretch out or extend, not "eek, a mouse!". :)

  9. See, now that's festive without being cheesy! Nicely done! I definitely went cheesie today. Scott has a project due tomorrow, so my outfit was as festive as I got!

  11. Oh, how I adore that dress on you! I love that you point out the fact you two do things for each other on any day, not just Valentine's Day. That's awesome. :)
