Unobserved

Cowl Top - All Saints
Cardigan - Elle, gift
Trousers - Willi Smith, thrifted
Boots (unseen) - Miz Mooz
Bag - Target
Belt - Rugged Warehouse

Thanks to everyone for the movie recommendations over the weekend. In particular, I watched Sheila's recs of the documentaries Catfish and Encounters at the End of the World (Don't watch this if you're cold! Brr! But do watch it!), and Erin's rec for Attack the Block (fun alien movie with Nick Frost!). I also tackled half of one of my research papers, wrote up my notes like a good student, and got the online work finished.

I planned to continue with my hard work today, but I think I burnt out. Instead I slept in, ate the greasiest most delicious eggroll, and ran a few low key errands. I was feeling really guilty about the work I still need to do, but I think I need to take today at an easy pace. I think I need to remember that as effective as multitasking can be, we need to take things easy sometimes and recharge so we can keep going strong.

(Your smile reminds me of the Mona Lisa, and I mean that as an honest compliment.)

  11. I think there is a rule - the more productive you get, the more productive you believe your are going to be... but the more productive you believe you are going to be, the less productive you actually are. Currently crashing out on the couch. Glad you got some productivity in before the crash!

  17. I am all kinds of crazy about the color/length of that cardigan! And I love it paired with the blue on the cowel neck, too.

I hope you enjoyed your less hectic day...sometimes, you just need to listen to that inner voice that tells you to take it down a notch :)
