Aaand we're back to jacket weather. I'm surprised we haven't had more tornado warnings with the back and forth of the temperatures and rolling thunder storms. However I am happy to be able to pull out this jacket I thrifted last Super Saturday at Goodwill. I saw the embellished sleeve sticking out of the racks. Usually our goodwill has really (bad) vintage blazers and really 90s ones. But I pulled this one out and it fit. Not bad for $4, and thank God for that sleeve detail. It's a bit rumpled in the above photo. I'm thinking of slimming the bubble sleeve to make the jacket a little sleeker.

Jacket sleeve Bird!
I'm kicking back in the college cafeteria while the Hubs meets up with some friends on campus. I'm hoping to get some movies watched, homework done, and blogs read. I'm pretty psyched to have my laptop back from the repair shop. It definitely makes doing stuff on the go a lot more appealing.

  6. The embellishment is really pretty, and I agree that making the sleeves a little slimmer would be a good look.

  7. I love the shape of this jacket on you, particularly the asymmetrical neckline. I love the embroidered detail. I wouldn't modify the sleeves at all - I like the slight pouf.

Awesome outfit - love those pants!

  11. Cute jacket! And I love those pants. I just bought some easy wide leg trousers, but I'm not sure about them. I'll have to play around with them I guess.
