Dress - NY Collection, thrifted
Belt (Smoking Lily), Snake Ring - gifts from Sheila
Scarf - thrifted
Boots - Frye, ebay
Sheila hit a big score at Smoking Lily awhile back and snagged me a belt. I got it in the mail yesterday. I love it, but it's a bit big on me (non-adjustable). I'm going to try it out with a thicker fabric though since they (the weather people) keep talking about cooler weather coming at some point. Which I'm still a little skeptical of. I mean, it was 80F. In February. C'mon! Also check out that pale skin! I think I might glow under blacklight lol!
Yeehaw this is such a great outfit- the pieces Sheila gave you really add to the look and I love how you tied the scarf. Don't worry, you're not alone, I'm also glowing in the dark!
ReplyDeleteOh I glow in the dark too, I never have tan skin even in the summer. I'm a pale Northern girl! I love the way you tied the scarf and I always love when you wear those boots because they are crazy cute.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit...omg...love the colors and such :D:D What style/model are the boots? I might get a pair (only if super cheaply found) for a cosplay :D?
ReplyDeleteOk, I don't know Sheila, but I love her. She is a great gift giver!!! I LOVE this belt and may I say that you are killing it lately????!!!! I love this dress on you so much and the touch of yellow in the scarf. Oh, and the boots too! Enjoy your weekend Megan!
ReplyDeletethat snake ring is gorgeous! What an awesome gift!
ReplyDeleteThe scarf looks super cute like that and I love the belt! It reminds me of those pressed souvenir pennies!
ReplyDeleteThe snake ring is so cute and I again love the way you tie your scarves! It looks great wrapped under the collar :)
ReplyDeleteAw, I'm sorry the belt is a little big on you - maybe you could just seam it at the back?
ReplyDeleteThe green dress is cute!
o_O Is the snake going to eat the frog!?!?!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I glow in the dark too! I kind of like this look, but you look a bit nonplussed by it. and really a lot of my belts are big ... they are great to wear all slouchy!
ReplyDeleteYou wear some of the most unusual things, which makes your style always fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteI just want to say that I love how this outfit completely matches the background in the photo. Red hair and bricks, green dress and grass, brown boots/belt and dirt, even the yellow scarf picks up the low golden light on the plants.
ReplyDeleteVery artistic!
This is a very timely western-inspired outfit because the Houston rodeo starts next week!
ReplyDeleteThe weather was humid and gross on Thursday here, but has since cooled down to more manageable temps. Hope it does the same for you!
Love it! You look adorable :)
ReplyDeleteLove this look,Megan. The Frye boots are so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeous belt!
