Like I said last week, sitting in class requires different clothing demands than my usual daily habits. We're continuing on with the cold mornings, but sunny spring-like days. This grey dress has been invaluable as a base. I skipped the usual belt and let the tailored shirt be the only waist definition. I also wore these two pieces of jewelry that Sheila had tucked inside the pockets of the jacket she sent me! (I'm thinking of doing a Sheila-week, thoughts?)
The three fingered ring is something I've been lusting after for-ev-er. Snakes being one of my favorite jewelry motifs. The statement necklace has a good weight to it. Meaning it doesn't have the problem with slipping around like most of my necklaces.
A good pair of bright tights, comfortable shoes, and my new purse topped everything off nicely. I was comfortable all through the day. I was a little chilly around my feet until the afternoon, but I think on Thursday I'll revisit the idea of this outfit, (with a pair of boots).
I like the dress with the shirt on top :) I also love your snake ring! So cool of Sheila to send it to you!
ReplyDeleteLOL you should do a Sheila week, she's found you some awesome things! I love your tights, the design in them is lovely! Also love that dress! You look comfy and cute all in one!
ReplyDeleteI think you should do a Sheila week, and she can do a Megan week at the same time.

You should definitely do a Sheila week. You two are like long lost sisters! This is a great outfit and the tights, shoes, and snake ring are perfect with the gray dress.
ReplyDeleteI like the layering in your outfit (necklace over shirt over dress). I think Shelia Week sounds fun! How many items of clothing do you have from her?
ReplyDeleteI have a handful of clothing pieces and some jewelry. Not sure of the exact count, but enough to do a week I think.
DeleteI love this outfit! and great ring. So cool!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that bag and the ring is so cool! Hope school is going well for you!

Those tights are so fabulous. Love your new ring too - great snake!
ReplyDeleteLove the stockings and jewelry. A really cute (and super comfy looking) coord :)
ReplyDeleteHow are the three fingered rings for typing? Writing?
ReplyDeleteI've been struggling with the crazy weather too - freezing mornings and sunny afternoons. Might have to steal your dress layering idea!
I love how you put both of the accessories together! How cool that the ring fits you so well. :) I couldn't wear it for work - it drove me nuts for mousing and keyboarding.
ReplyDeleteHa! A Sheila week? You're too funny! I might have enough to do a Megan week...
Great outfit, hon!
Such a perfectly you look. Loves.
ReplyDeleteI love how the colors in the tights mirror the colors in your hair! And that bag is so cute!
