I did swoon when I stumbled on this cotton sweater in goodwill. It was that perfect shade of lime-y citron. I layered it up with my fav knit dress and layered the underskirt to mirror the pink in my hair. Tall socks warded off the damp because I wanted to eek out one more day of non-boots. We're expecting "winter weather" (what the news is calling it) starting tomorrow. Tomorrow which is my first day of classes. Brr!
Sorry for today's tired face. I stayed up all night reading The Fault in Our Stars. No spoilers, but it is an amazing book that I highly recommend everyone go check out right now. Small warning: Keep some tissues handy. I spent 4 out of 6 hours bawling. So worth it. Oh! And all the copies of the first printing are signed by the author.
The green makes your hair look extra bright, and the argyle socks are fun.
ReplyDeleteThat is a super shade of green. And I just put the book on hold at our library. I know nothing about it, but I trust your reco!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors! I wish I were a little more daring with those bolder hues. You pull them off so well, it's inspiring. Adding the socks is definitely a fun touch. Best of luck starting classes and I hope the "winter weather" holds off just a little longer for you guys!

Love the socks and that green sweater is to die for! Great layering in this outfit.
ReplyDeleteIs the book fiction? I'm always up for a good cry when I read, ha ha!
The sweater is such a cool color, great layering :)
ReplyDeleteI love those colours! It's my current colour outerwear colour scheme! I have a lime green bag, wine coloured scarf/toque/mitts, and a navy jacket! I love the green so much I've been trying to thrift a piece of the same colour!
ReplyDeleteWow! such a cute outfit! Love the harness!
ReplyDeletebtw, I am hosting a giveaway in my blog... a $100 voucher to spend at Boticca! I would love to see you around :D

Sounds like an amazing read but I'm a pretty emotional sap so being in tears for 4 hours could be intense! Love the lime green on you and the harness just gives it that edge!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love that sweater! So bright. You wore one of our challenges already: short over long.:)
ReplyDeleteReally cool sweater! I also love the argyle socks! Yucky. We got our snow/blizzard/winter stuff today. It wasn't horrible, but it was cold and slick on the roads. Luckily, you don't have to drive in it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a colourful outfit and so nice :)

Nice bright color! Super happy feeling! And I love those socks, they are too much fun! It's super cold here now, which is how it's supposed to be, but it's still hard to take. I'll have to check into that book, it sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love the lime and the pink and the harness and the socks! :P :D you look so great! :)
ReplyDeleteFun combination! I'm a particular fan of the harness/belt. A little steampunk touch. ;) I know what you mean about wanting to ward of the boot wearing -- I'm in a boot wearing rut now that we have some snow to wade through. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty sweater. On you this is a beautiful color with your hair.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteThis look is cute and stylish!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hello from Charlotte's House!!!
Love that color green -- I'm always afraid to wear that color. And wow on the socks! I need to go look up the book.
