Cow head Watch - chickfila
The rest of my outfit was planning around my buttonflower cluster. This cashmere sweater is cozy, but a bit plain. I dressed it up last time with one buttonflower, but this time I wanted to try my cluster idea. I wore my plush fur coat, but it was actually too warm for both wool and fur. Not my favorite outfit ever, but it kept me warm and comfortable.
Hopefully I'll be on the mend fully by Wednesday. I've got a wonderfully busy holiday planned. Mom's birthday is Wednesday, my uncle and grandparents are having a party Thursday, Saturday with friends and Sunday with my immediate family. Friday is still open, but I'm hoping to find something to fill that day.

I have had the sick since last Wednesday too and I am rather tired of it! Your cow watch made me happy though : >
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the sick thing, I'm FINALLY coming around the corner on mine. It's nice to feel somewhat human again!!
ReplyDeleteThat cow is hilarious, I love that you are wearing it!
And I adore your buttonflowers as usual and your boots are cute too!
Hope you feel better soon!
I caught your cold / flu! Hopefully, my husband will take me out for lunch when I start to feel better!
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness I hope you kick this sickness! Even though you are not the biggest fan of this outfit, I LOVE it on you! The green is a great color on you and I love the cluster of buttons. The trousers look great on you (and comfy!) and the boots and fur coat are amazing. Rest up Megan!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. I usually get sick at some point around the holidays, but I'm still healthy right now (fingers crossed)!
ReplyDeleteLoving those boots! I am finally on the mend myself,

I've been fighting that nasty cold too. It sucks! I love your outfit! It's a perfect work look. But the button flower cluster is adorable! I've got to try that with my broach collection.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon. When I was a kid, it seemed like I was always sick at Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteYour button flowers are just perfect on the sweater. It adds just the right creative touch.
The watch made me smile. Do you think the chickens were saying "eat cow, not chicken"? We are getting a Chick-Fil-a here early next year. I can't wait!
I love the cluster of flowers! I'd like to see even more together!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have awarded you the Liebster blog award :)
The cluster flowers look great and that cow bracelet is definitely amazing :) Hope you are feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous way to dress up a plain sweater! Hope you're feeling better soon, lady.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of wearing more than one buttonflower but I think they look even better in a cluster. Gonna steal that idea!
ReplyDeleteThis may be an odd observation to make but, since this is a fashion-blog, I'll make it anyway: your pants look terrific. They fit so well. I love the width of their legs, the slight flare, and the perfect length. These things may seem insignificant to most, but they're important to me. If I could wear pants as well as you, I'd be in Style Heaven. Your skill with the pants gives your overall look one of high competence and fashion-brio.
WOW you got a cow watch with a kid's meal ?! that's a great deal.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get better, I have been miserably sick too :(
The watch is killing me!
ReplyDeleteHee hee! I want a cow head watch--and I'm a vegan! Sometimes it's fun to wear wacky things for the hell of it, like ugly Christmas sweaters. Having good style also means you don't take yourself too seriously. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel bad that you got sick. Get well soon! I always watch TV marathons when I'm sick, usually Ghost Whisperer or Millionaire Matchmaker.
It's the details that make an outfit like this! The boots (our boots!), the cow watch, the button flowers. Lovely!
