Around the Corner

Cardigan - Rugged Warehouse
Blouse - Old Navy
Trousers, Belt - thrifted
Amelia boots - Miz Mooz

Please ignore the half-wet hair today. D forgot he had an appointment this afternoon so we left in a hurry. Thankfully I have a couple of days worth of outfits planned and grabbed this off the shelf. The trousers are more of a summer weight, but I love their flight-suit like look.

The blouse is new thanks to a giftcard from my uncle. It reminded me a bit of Anthro stuff - only with the Old Navy price. I picked up four new tops from Old Navy, and still had $6 left on the card. I paid it forward though and gave the girl behind me in line the rest of the card. (I'm not much of a retail shopper)

Can you believe the new year is just around the corner? I feel so out of sorts! I'm very excited for 2012 though.

  1. That's so cool of you giving the girl in line behind you the balance on your gift card. We are sure you made her day.

The blouse is very cool and the pants are even cooler!

  2. How nice of you Megan! What a grand idea! Ever since I started thrifting, I've found that I am not much of a retail person either. But if you are, Old Navy is one of the ways to go because of their low, low prices! I love your pants!

  3. Those pants look really comfortable, and I like the chevron print!

  4. How nice of you! I love those pants and zigzag blouse.

  5. I love the print of your blouse, looks great with you cool pants :) Great outfit!

  6. Megan are you losing weight? You look so thin in this outfit! Love the pants and the blouse. I may have to stop by Old Navy to see what they have.

  7. What a sweet and generous idea...I knew I liked you for reasons other than being pretty and wearing pretty things :)

I can't believe we only have 2 more days left in this year...insane!

  8. I love that blouse, super cute! And how nice of you to pay it forward like that, I might try that the next time I have a small amount left on a gift card! What a great idea!

Thanks for reading. Got something to say? I'd love to hear it!
