Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of)

 Sweater - vintage, etsy
Skirt - BB Dakota, gift
Boots - alice+olivia for payless, ebay
Leather star cuff - Target
Fur Vest - thrifted, DIY'd

Vestify!
Sheila had no idea how much I'd love this skirt when she picked it up for me. It's one of my top three favorite skirts. (The other two being my All Saints ones) It's finally cold today and I knew I'd want warm layers. I knew I wanted to wear my favorite sweater today too, so how perfect does it go with my yellow skirt!

I tossed on my fur vest because my Mom needed me to hit the store last minute for sodas and fresh sage (Seriously, Mom?! I went shopping a week ago!).. But it was quite crazy already, but we managed to get in and out pretty quickly. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's delicious meal and movie. We're going to see Hugo.

Hope everyone in the US enjoys their Thanksgiving, and everyone else enjoys their Thursday! I'll be back Friday with an OOTD post, as well as the launch of the latest Fashion Challenge (Sign ups start at Noon CST).

 Ways I've remixed this skirt:

  6. Your star sweater made me smile. The turquoise wrap bracelet is such a nice touch of color with the yellow.
The grocery stores were madhouses today as were the gas stations. It will be crazy from now until January. I think I am going to stay in.

  12. I like the hair and the turquoise accent.

That is so weird - I almost wore that skirt today! I ended up swapping it for my green tweed due to the length of the slip I had on underneath, but how weird would that have been??

    Happy Turkey Day, hon!

  15. wow. I love this picture of you. I don't know what it is -- but that expression on your face is amazing. You should blow it up and frame it and give it to your hubby to have always. The outfit is pretty darn great too.
