Mod Megan

 Hat, star cuff - Target
Dress - vintage, thrifted
Hepat Boots - Tsubo
Coat - Khols
Bag - Nine West, swap with Keely

Brr! It has gotten cold. Okay it may only be in the 40s, which might be a warm winter for you, but it's wet and grey. So I pumped my day up with lots of bright red and warm wool. This vintage dress has definitely been one of my favorites.  I've been meaning to pull these boots out again. They are pretty much glove-leather soft. The wedge+platform gives a fun boost without hurting the feet. Everytime I wear these, I remember why they were such a great buy (plus I got them for like 65% off).

As you may know, I gave out a bunch of my buttonflowers to bloggers around the 'sphere. You can catch my early corsage design on Sheila over here, and one of the classic button flowers on Heather over here. Of course, a big thank you shoutout goes to Ally for supplying most of the ties that have gone into the production. She has graciously sent me another package of ties! Soon they'll be transformed into something new!

Of course, don't forget about Keely and my awesome Fashion Challenge. It's an easy peasy one this time around so feel free to give it a go! Just click on the badge in my sidebar to take you to the masterpost.

  2. That dress is very mod, and it reminds me a little of Harley Quinn from Batman.

  3. The mod look looks great on you! It really suits your style. Love it! The jacket looks like it was made to be paired with the dress too. Can't wait to see what you do with new batch of ties from Ally.

  7. Love how the hat works with the dress. Also, 40s aren't a warm winter - that's fall!
