Super Villain

 Tank - All Saints
Jeggings - Mossimo, thrifted
Hepat Boots - Tsubo
Chain Harness - DIY

We briefly discussed our Super Hero colors (Feel free to weigh in!), but today I want to talk about my Super Villain... boots. Sleeveless and OTK boots? Insanity, you say? Not when you're channeling your inner badass. I couldn't wait one more day to wear these boots. They've been sitting in my closet since the height of summer. Sal was right when she dubbed them pajama boots. They're like wearing leather socks with wedges attached. They'll probably be worn with everything come winter. The best part? Nooo zipper!

I tossed on an All Saints tank (can I admit, I still haven't worn all my new All Saints stuff yet?) and my homemade chain harness. I may deconstruct this one and re-make it. This particular design tends to slide around more than I care for. Anyway, it takes some very special weather for an outfit like this, but I'm happy to take advantage of cool winds and hot sun.

My thoughts are on protagonists and antagonists lately because I'm outlining for NaNoWriMo. I've got loads of ideas flowing out, I may not even worry about confining myself to Nano. I am going to try and do nothing but plan throughout the next week. You can check out my pinterest board if you're really interested in what my story will be about.

Would you look at the back?!

  5. I can feel your inner bad ass all the way from CO!!! Those boots are AMAZING! Thank you so much for the award. I really appreciate it! My daughter is sick today so no post, but it will be in the next post. I love the harness as always and think that sleeveless and OTK boots are totally acceptable.

  9. Where can I even begin? This is quite an amazing outfit! I love how you've worked together several different statement pieces with such ease. The boots are my favorite part of the look! They work so wonderfully with the simple gray tank and jeggings. Very well done!
