Sweater - thrifted
Skirt - All Saints
Flats - BOC, ebay
The flats were from my big ebay haul. I wasn't familiar with any of the brands I purchased, these were both good and bad. I love the arch support, but the edging of the leather is a bit sharp. They are adorably designed, so I'll just be careful not to wear them for any major walking until they break in. I picked these for today thinking we'd be heading out for pumpkin buying. But it's put off until later this week.
I'm dying for a haircut. It's been over a year since I chopped my locks off, and I've been trying to allow my hair to grow out for the winter months, but it's driving me batty. Any suggestions?

Whoa look at that skirt twirl! :D this sweater is really great too!
ReplyDeleteI love this skirt so much! It really does make you want to twirl :) Can't wait to see you style it for fall/winter.
ReplyDeleteHair can be tricky. Once it gets long I want to chop it, once it's short I want it long. Are you looking for a major change or just a little snip snip? You would look so good with a pixie cut! Heather
Your skirt is so twirly!!! I like it. :)

The shoes are really pretty. I love the skirtm it has such great pattern in it. It is fun to twirl in a full skirt.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the color pallet for this outfit. The textures of fabric blend very well together and I love the bright pop of color those shoes add to the outfit. Such a great eBay find!
ReplyDeleteI hate that awkward length hair gets between cuts. Have you tired any cute hair accessories - maybe a hair hand or clips - to keep it out of your face? Or maybe some styling product to keep it tamed and manageable? I know when I cut my hair super short last year, those were two tricks that really helped me. But I think your current length is very adorable right now!
Every time I think "I really LOVE that skirt/top/whatever" it's by All Saints!
ReplyDeleteYou are the All Saints queen! Fabulous skirt!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you wanting to do with your hair? I actually just got mine cut last week and I love it. It looks almost the same, just the back is shorter. Maybe you just need a trim to freshen things up?
Hee hee - great spinning picture!!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is MADE for spinning, love it! I have one similar, but shorter :( Your blue shoes are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteMaybe some layers or a change in color would make it easier to grow your hair out. I am trying to grow mine, but I get regular trims so that it keeps its shape.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is awesome!
@ Cara - I believe this skirt is meant to be shorter, but I'm only 5'2" so it falls quite long!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Love the skirt and shoes. BOC the lesser of Born brand. Usually a very good shoe. Growing hair is a pain! I find that a layered, kind of shaggy cut helps with the process and a good straightener.
ReplyDeleteI have never had the luxury of a short haircut, so sorry I have no advice for you. :-( I LOOOOOOOVE your skirt and those adorable flats. Hope they start behaving themselves!
ReplyDeleteReally cute skirt! Short hair is always easy!
ReplyDeletePretty skirt! Does she have a big sister?
ReplyDeletedude! so cute.
ReplyDeleteBOC is Born and born makes some AMAZINGLY comfortable (and expensive) shoes!
For growing hair. It is tough. It really is. It took me FOUR years to grow it from a bad chop. I say braid it. Twist it, throw in some mousse, Spray it with some salt. It isn't too short to french braid along the side. (it is tricky the first few times)
I love the twirl picture! We go to the pumpkin farm every year to pick out pumpkins, drink cider, get lost in the corn maze, and enjoy the fall weather.
ReplyDeleteIt's been 6 months since I got a haircut. I'm growing it out long again, but it's in this weird inbetween phase. There's not much I can do but wait. :(
