Tunic (Berla Dress) - All Saints
Jeans - One Star, thrifted newstock
Boots - Wanted, ebay
Star Wrist cuff - Target
Woo! I think this is my final piece of my last All Saints haul. This long sleeved tunic dress is something I've been hunting ever since the introduction to tank dresses. I really wanted some sleeved layering dresses. This little ditty popped up on the All Saints archive site for I think ~$25. Which was less than many other tee shirt dresses or at least comparable in price, not to mention it was in an endlessly useful grey. I had planned to cut off that weird fabric belt thing, and I'm still waffling about that. It does give the outfit visual interest if I want to wear the tunic alone, but eeeeh, I dunno. Thoughts?
I did have on a skirt layered over this but changed into jeans. I hate to wear jeans three times in a week, but Friday evening class calls for jeans and flat shoes (Wellness).
Struggling to come up with a look for a certain day of FC? Keep a look out this weekend for my Fashion Challenge inspirational polyvores. Haven't joined yet? Well why not!
This tunic is gorgeous! I love the soft gray color. The belt thing across the front does add visual interest. I would style this with leggings and boots! Have a great weekend!

I really like that tunic. It looks nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteThose are cool jeans. I'd wear them every day! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the A.S. tunic - and what a great price : > Cool jeans too.
ReplyDeleteYa, I have mixed feelings on the belt too. I can only imagine all the possibilities for belts you could come up with if it wasn't there, but it certainly isn't offensive (and I do love tunic options that don't require belting for those "my stomach doesn't want anything touching it" days).
ReplyDeleteAnd good grief, I didn't realize that I wear jeans ALL THE TIME until now!!
I love that tunic sooo much!:) Don't cut it. It's an automatic belt and it does it much needed interest.
ReplyDeleteokay, that's supposed to say "it does give it much needed interest."
ReplyDeleteGreat tunic!
ReplyDeleteI would wear a tunic like that. It looks very comfy. But the fabric belt thingy? Um...I'm not loving it. I've cut off belts before and I probably would take it off this tunic too. It's not bad, but it could look cuter.
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching for your outfit polyvores this weekend!
i love that tunic. and i actually like the belt thingy. looks pretty cool and gives it character! i really love this look over those jeans.

Your jeans are really cool :D and I think the belt makes the tunic a little more fun, but if you don't like it - chop it off!
ReplyDeleteOkay - while you are at my house, hiding in my closet, waiting to steal my new animal-print dress, I'll be at YOUR house, hiding in YOUR closet, waiting to steal this tunic. It. Is. Soveryawesome. And I particularly love it with those jeans. Which I might also steal while I'm at it... ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I vote to keep the belt-thingie. You have a narrow waist and the belt highlights that. Figure flattering!
Great tunic! You have such a good eye for the All Saints stuff...when I go to their website I can't picture how to style anything.
ReplyDeletei really like the belty thing on the tunic!
