70s Rain

 Silk Tunic - thrifted
Leather skirt - vintage, thrifted
Pearl Hart Pumps - Fluevog

Thanks to everyone for all the advice and suggestions on volunteering. I finally found a place after asking around. This outfit was sort of a poor choice for today's weather. It was pooouring when we took today's photos, and now it's bright and sunny (but cool). Tomorrow's temps are expecting to be in the 50s though, so I wanted to squeak this outfit in before I was in boots for the next 5 months.

This blouse? Tunic? was thrifted a few weeks ago. The psychedelic colors were really cool, but also - it was 100% silk. For $2. Not much else to say other than this was a fun outfit, I wish I had a reason to be so dressed up.

Speaking of being dressed up - Have you checked out Fashion Challenge: Fall Trends yet? We've got a lovely bunch of participants so far, and we'd love to have you.

  1. This is sooo GROOVY, lol! 100% silk for $2, that is a major score. I love the sleeves on this too. I always feel like Stevie Nicks when I wear bell sleeves.

So glad you were able to find a place to volunteer. It's stressful when getting close to a deadline for something.

  10. That tunic will look so cute with leggings and boots! I do love it with the skirt though. I really looks like a dress with the black paneled sleeves and black skirt.
