Vest - Express, thrifted Tank dress - Faded Glory Skirt - H&M Paris Pumps - John Fluevog |
So yesterday while thrifting, I happened upon a number of sequined pieces. I tried on a bronzed sequin tank (too big). While searching later, I picked up a black sequined vest and giggled to myself "Who would wear this on a normal day?! Oh wait, me." and I put it in my cart. I also came out with a top, two pairs of awesomesauce brand new jeans for $7 a piece, and a school bag (okay it's a purse, but it's ginormous).
Since red and black sequins always makes me think Big Top, I added the striped underskirt for the extra bit of circus-y fun. Sorry to everyone who wanted pictures of the basset, she went home before I finished grocery shopping today. I'm so behind on things this week. Adding more plans to my already loaded plate, I'm thinking about hitting the Art Crawl once more before school starts. Any suggestions for Art-tastic Inspiration?

That is a fun vest. I'm not daring enough to wear sequins to work, but I wish I was!
ReplyDeleteYou are a super glam and sexy ring master!
ReplyDeletePs - I love that you also have a mobile version of your blog.
You really are rocking that vest. That is such a great find. I love your whole look!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun piece! I know I would never be brave enough to wear something like that, but you did a wonderful job of pulling it off. It really is a unique piece for the daytime. And it would have been perfect for the summer trends challenge. Sparkle during the day? I think this would have fit right in. Very adorable!
ReplyDeleteNow you have to be Sally Bowles for Halloween!
