Return to Summer

Blouse - H&M, swap
Belt - Guess, gift
Skirt - unknown, thrifted
Shoes - Louboutin, ebay

I realized yesterday, I had only worn one of the two tops that I got in the swap with Heather. This particular top is a bit challenging to me. It's blouse-y and cut a bit taller than I am. It's also very emboobening. Paired with a bright skirt and open toe shoes because Summer ain't ova' yet! Seriously if tomorrow is this hot/bright, I'll be hunting a shady spot for pictures.

School starts next week (this Saturday for the Hubs). I'm dying from the wait. I also have no clue what to wear on the first day!

Have you joined our latest Fashion Challenge? It starts first thing this September, and we'd love to have you. We're remixing our items from the new to forgotten, summer to fall, why not join in and find some inspiration from the clothes you already own.

  1. Good call with the wide belt! I like the emboobening word, lol!

I like the green with this colored skirt. Never would have thought of that. Green will go on my list to mix my berry colored skirt now!

Yah for school - it's almost like a fresh start in a way :)

  6. Two of my favorite treats are new words and humor. You provide both with one term I've never encountered before -- emboobening. Love it!

  10. Wowza you are smoking in this lady! I love the bright colors and the full skirt and the wide belt! Fantastic! I know what you mean about the heat--we reached 100 today and I about died! (I'm spoiled to drier heat too. What can I say?)

  11. Such a pretty color palette. I really love the green print with the berry skirt. That belt gives it just enough edge. Oh, I've been meaning to pass on another great shoe brand: fidji. They r gorg. Remind me of Fluevog.
