Last night I decided it was Time. I picked up a new shade of dye in a brand I had never used because no where in town carries Herbal Essence dye I used to use. I always pass over Preference because the gold box seems a little outdated/cheap looking, but I decided to try out RR07 since it was the only true red I could find. I was pleasantly surprised. It brought all of my hair to mostly the same color. There's subtle tones and differences, but it actually brought it all close to one color. It also didn't leave my hair feeling crunchy despite the amount I have dyed it, and it didn't stain my head. If you've ever used red dye, it's notorious for staining.

That top is great! You look ready to go to the disco with your flared jeans and shiny shirt. I love it!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great too. I have dyed my hair red in the past and I know what you mean about it staining. Well, I dye my hair brown (out of necessity) and it stains too! I use the 10 minute kins (I think by Loreal) and it's great.
Your hair looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit. Love the wide jeans, love that you tucked in the shirt, love the shiny, pretty pattern. You look awesome!

The new color looks great. I used to dye my hair red when I was in grad school, and I ruined at least a couple shirts due to the dye running and staining.
ReplyDeleteSeriously..... fluevogs? you are a true Sheila .
ReplyDeleteYou are looking lovely btw :)
Yes, mi dog Vanilla has a bow in her hair, she always pulls them out - but I put them right back in -
I like the new color! I really like the 70s vibe you got going on here :)
ReplyDeletei use preference and kinda like it though i'm a huge fan of the excellence to go (it's like 10 minutes) though not sure if they got rid of it...always a bad sign.
ReplyDeleteanyway, love this outfit. i love those jeans on you and that top is fabulous!

That is a really cool shirt! I am always amazed by your great thrifted finds!
ReplyDeleteI freaked out last time I needed to dye my hair because there was no Natural Match. Where the heck is the natural match and what am I supposed to do without it? This colour I have right now doesn't match my natural hair and it's nearly impossible to find the right black! *end rant* I'm glad yours worked out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun top!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great - I don't mind Preference (although Feria is my favourite). I've tried most of the drugstore brands. I do wish they made more vibrant reds - they fade out so fast!
I like your shiny shapeless top - tucked into those jeans it works perfectly.

Your hair looks great! And I love those pants and the top!
ReplyDeleteI love this ensemble. So simple, but has interest. And the hair looks awesome!
