| Dress - Sigrid Olsen, thrifted Harness - Audra Jean Pumdals - X-appeal, thrifted |
This pineapple dress always seems suitably ridiculous. I knew I would have to pair it with my harness. It really calls for a huge belt to break up the mass of pineapples - due to the way it's cut. Brilliant day with lots of wind, so of course I had to pick the one 'wrap dress' I've got. Haha.

Check out my self-done manicure. I suck at painting my nails, but so many blogs I follow have been showing off the manis lately that I decided to do my own with what I had around the house. NYC's Flat Iron Green (green so dark, it's black) and Revlon's Salsa Red (pinky watermelon red) on my left ring finger. Here's hoping I don't destroy it on day one.

What a FUN dress!
ReplyDeleteSee, that's why I always get the Shellac, because I WILL destroy my manis on day one. Without fail.
@ Melissa - someday I will get that, when I can afford it. For now - $1 polish with top coat ftw.
ReplyDeleteI love the harness with this fun dress! I don't spend much, scratch, any time on my nails either. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the harness with the dress--it tones the 'sweetness' down in just the right way. I really need to paint my nails more often!
ReplyDeleteThe harness + pineapple dress just make sense. Somehow, they do. I also suck majorly at painting my own nails... so when I do I choose a light color! Yours look good though.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job painting your nails! Love the extra pop of the red paired with the dark green. Kayla just painted her nails olive green and they look great.
ReplyDeleteThe harness looks awesome with the pineapple dress. It definitely gives it an edge.
I'm jealous of your harness! My birthday is coming up but Canada Post is on strike right now. :( No online shopping for me until they settle the labour dispute.
ReplyDeleteTHe pineapple print makes me smile :) I love how you toughened it up with the harness!
ReplyDeleteGreat nails too. I love polish on my fingers in theory, but I always end up chipping them.
I really like this dress! And that harness is great!
ReplyDeleteI seriously thought this was Lily Pulitzer! It is really cute and the harness touch gives it an unexpected edgyness! I like!
ReplyDeletei love love love this fruity dress! it's great. and how cool is that harness. it's fabulous!

I just love the way you style up that harness! That pineapple dress is adorable, and the harness cuts the sweetness just enough.
ReplyDeleteI love the dress. It looks very comfortable and light for a summer day. I too tend to mess up my nails after one day. I do too much work with my hands to keep my nails looking nice.
ReplyDeleteI always look like a 5-year-old painted my nails!
