| Top - NY&Co, thrifted Pants - Victoria Secret, thrifted Boots - Miz Mooz Bracelet - liberated from my mom Necklace - originally Urban Outfitters, Rugged Warehouse |
My first run through the store found a pair of wool trousers (too big, alas!), a linen chartreuse skirt (too small), a blue silk tunic (too shapeless) and OMG Christian Dior camisole!! I sadly returned everything to the racks, except the cami. It is too big, but camis are an easy fix - unlike pants that are too big all over. My second round lotted me a retro cotton top and two skirts (one leather, one denim).. Big score!
I could be talking about today's outfit, but really why not talk about how I can totally wear my Fossil sunnies again! Now I've got contacts, I stole back my sunglasses from my mom who I let borrow them a year ago. I purchased these back before The Flood of Nashville 2010 destroyed Opry Mills mall. The Fossil store is a favorite place to ooh and ahh over tasty accessories, right along with Wilson's Leather. Another thing I grabbed from my mom (who never wears her oodles of jewelry) is this bracelet, it has a small charm that identically matches my big Strawberry necklace! Sorry I forgot to get detail pics.
Also red pants are the coolest, right?

Red pants are DEFINITELY the coolest on you! And I most certainly could not have worn that shirt at my office. ;) I probably should've buttoned my shirt over the dress like you said but really? Eh.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! So, so lucky with the finds you scored and that necklace is tons of fun. :)
Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
That top is so flattering on you! I love it! And I'm always drooling over that necklace whenever you wear it! So cute.
ReplyDeleteI like the red pants. I haven't had time to thrift lately, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteLoving this. That top is super-flattering and the pants are AWESOME. I have a red skirt... alas, no red pants.
ReplyDeleteJust reading "I went thrifting" totally makes me want to hit my favorite thrift store RIGHT NOW. Which I can't, as it's 9:45 on a school night. Ah well, at least I can revel in your finds, as well as your awesomely thrifted outfit!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those red pants! So fresh! So chic! So BOLD!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit today and especially loved yesterday's leo print and blazer! And I am sooooooo jealous of your Christian Dior find. You have no idea! Story of why: I started collecting Barbie at a young age and the Christian Dior fashion Barbies were a couple of the first to enter the collection. They are Dior vintage inspired and just lovely! I later wanted to be a fashion designer, but didn't think I could hack it in the bustle of NYC. And now I'm sure it would have eaten me alive!
ReplyDeleteHee, red pants are the best! Wow, I can't believe you, me, Jentine and Bev all wore red pants today - that is too weird.
ReplyDeleteYES, those red pants are the cutest ever! But you paired them so well with that blue patterned top. Great outfit!

I need to include this in another red legs post!
ReplyDeleteThey are the coolest! I need to get a pair, the only ones I have are orange/red! I love the little necklace too!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute and yay for stealing your sunglasses back. And way to go with the shopping trip. :)
