Grumpleberry

Tee and Raincoat - Target
Skirt - Gap, thrifted
Boots - Eject
Belt - Rugged Warehouse

A simple comfortable outfit for the day. Chowed down on pizza, did a little bit of shopping, managed to find hubs another work shirt (he's impossible to fit). The sun is finally coming out for a little bit today, so I'm taking advantage and washing hang dry stuff and airing out some other laundry.

This skirt has a really cool circular design on it. It's also purple, but looks blueish here. I am also wearing purple argyle knee socks my mom gave me as a gift. I didn't get a picture though!

I'm wiped out from the small outing we had today. I'm really glad spring break is coming up. I look forward to the time off. One more week of classes, paper writing and ungodly amounts of reading to keep up with. Anyone got any good book or movie recs that I can catch up on over Spring Break?

  1. Have you read anything by Dan Simmons? I love his Hyperion Cantos (Hyperion, Fall of Hyperion, Endymion, Rise of Endymion) and his horror (Carrion Comfort, Song of Kali). You might be able to find them in the library.

For movies, I've been on a Werner Herzog kick. Fitcarraldo (amazing), Nosferatu (with Klaus Kinski), and the documentary Encounters at the End of the World, are his best ones. He uses NO special effects.

  4. Have you tried the Charlie Parker series by John Connolly? It is amazingly good, and the first book, Every Dead Thing, is available at the library. Yeah, I like free stuff ;)

For movies, I'm on a late 90's kick - rewatching 5th Element, Scream and Empire Records. LOVE!

I also love those boots. So cute!

  5. @ SC Erin - 5th Element is my favorite movie of all time, and I seriously see it at least once a year. But I'll be adding the books to my look-up list. ^_~

  6. you're so adorable! I like your blog. I'm a fellow TN blogger!

As far as books, if you haven't read the Bel Canto by Ann Patchett you should check it out. I found it really amazing. I'm currently reading the Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, but it's not really a light read, though it is incredible so far!

  7. I love the colors in this outfit! (And even though you said the skirt is actually purple, I think a blue skirt would be great too!) And those boots rock!! :)
