Dots and Stripes

Red polka dot cami - NY&Co
Stripe Cardi - Rugged Warehouse
Belt - Kenneth Cole
Jeans - Ann Taylor Loft
Shoes - Fly London, amazon

I'll be posting from Sunday to Thursday this week. I really should be working on my book report, but I figured a quick outfit post would give me a break.

I love this outfit for it's subtlety. The red top has polka dots, the buttons and belt closure are circles. The cardigan has big stripes and my socks have little stripes. I didn't have this outfit in mind one bit. I was actually planning to wear my blue cardigan, but happy accident. D totally caught me talking in my photos.

I'm already going a bit crazy with preparations for this week. D and I will be going to my mom's for Thanksgiving lunch and then to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. If you're in the US, what are your Turkey Day plans?

  1. I am in love with this outfit! It's just gorgeous! But red and black and white is one of my fav combos. I'll be spending Thanksgiving with 40 or so family and friends. It should be fun.

  2. Black, white, and red look so fabulous together! This is such a cute outfit... that cardigan and those shoes are too perfect!

  3. Just my kinda outfit - flats, jeans, belted open cardigan, perfect! Have a great (and busy) Thanksgiving!

    Call Me Ishmael

  4. Super cute outfit!! I love the color combo! And your glasses look different too actually? Good luck with your preparations for Thanksgiving! :)

  5. @ Matt - Light reflection. I have to be aware how I tilt my head to not catch the sun on them. The only thing I don't like about metallic frames (which is why I have the plastic ones too).

  6. I'm glad you pointed out the polka dots - they sure are subtle, especially on my little netbook screen! I'm still in love with the cardigan!

  7. Love the outfit!

I'm taking US Thanksgiving off - 1 day of football, one day hanging out with a friend, and going to the theatre on Friday night. Busy!

Thanks for reading. Got something to say? I'd love to hear it!
